Job description

IMEG is hiring an Administrative Assistant in Bemidji, Minnesota, to provide administrative support for assigned engineering teams and complete day-to-day administrative tasks. This role supports consistent document quality through the use and review of IMEG standard document templates while helping the team stay on budget and aligned with project goals and client expectations. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep administrative workflows moving efficiently.

Principal Responsibilities

Follow and promote IMEG Standards
Support assigned engineering teams and assist other teams as needed
Maintain confidentiality of project/client, corporate, and employee matters
Work with engineering specifications for all applicable disciplines
Attend and actively contribute to group meetings
Answer phones as needed
Arrange meetings and travel as needed for the team and office
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and shipping as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma/GED required
Associate Degree preferred
No experience required, 1 year experience with engineering administration preferred
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work with staff of all levels
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong customer service orientation coupled with the ability to exhibit and maintain a positive attitude
Team player but also able to work on own initiative
Self-motivated and flexible

Positions primary location is in Bemidji but will be required to work from the Walker location one to two times per week to support staff and office functions.

State of Minnesota Salary Range: $21-23/hr. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
